Stacey Grosz Obituary (1966 - 2018)

Stacey Grosz, 52, Mandan, North Dakota, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Trinity Hospital, Minot. A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM, Sunday, September 2, 2018, at the Twin City Estates Community Center, 3001 Twin City Drive in Mandan, ND. Cremation has taken place. Stacey was born January 17, 1966, at Minot, North Dakota, to Vernon and Luella "Lou" (Wiedrich) Grosz. He was raised and educated in Minot. He worked as a carpenter for various construction companies. He was a talented carpenter and helped many people with his skills. He enjoyed fishing with Rhonda and VooDoo. His gardening talents included growing local vegetables and even some food not native to the area. In his younger days he was an amateur boxer and really enjoyed the boxing scene. He was always ready to share a joke, had a unique laugh, and could talk to anyone. He spent most of his spare time helping his Mother, spoiling VooDoo, adventures with Rhonda, and watching Vikings Football. He is survived by his mother; four brothers, Randy (Sandie), Phoenix, AZ, Kevin (Kathy), Grand Forks, ND, Jerry, Lincoln, ND, and Lyle (Beth), Olathe, KS; numerous nieces, nephews, special friends, dog VooDoo, and longtime companion and special friend, Rhonda Lewellyn. Stacey was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
