Priscilla Judah Obituary (1942 - 2019)

Priscilla Judah, 76, Wilton, ND passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at CHI St. Alexius Health, surrounded by her family and friends. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Sts. Peter \u0026 Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Wilton, ND. Priscilla was born August 21, 1942 in Hague, ND, to Valentine \u0026 Clara Keller. She was raised and educated in Hague. Priscilla married Eli (Jim) Judah on November 4, 1967 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hague. They lived for a short time in Dickinson, ND before making their home in Wilton where they raised their family. Priscilla was the definition of gentleness, kindness, service and grace. She had a calm demeanor and compassion for everyone. This led her to pursue a career in nursing. She attended nursing school in Dickinson and received her LPN degree; and later received her RN degree from University of Mary, Bismarck. She worked at St. Alexius Health and was a highly respected nurse, mentor, co-worker and friend- retiring from St. A\u0027s after 40+ years. Priscilla was the most loving mother and grandmother. She cherished time with her family, especially with her grandchildren You could often find her at their sporting events, school programs and concerts; and going for walks with them to the pond or to play at the playgrounds. She was always happy to have family come home for holidays throughout the year. She would make popcorn balls, home cooked noodles and special treats for everyone. The grandkids especially loved lighting fireworks on the 4th of July, and the traditional decorating of Grandma and Grandpa's Christmas tree. Priscilla will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by those who survive her- her husband: Eli, Wilton; two daughters: Shelly (Steve) Schon, Bismarck, and Sarah (Todd) Helm, Fargo; son: Grant (Katie) Judah, Bismarck; sister-in-law: June (Richard) Werre, Bismarck; her three sisters: Cyrella Weisbeck and Idora Brandner, Herreid, SD, and Marietta Eberle, Hague, ND; two brothers: Wilbert (Karen) Keller, Hague, ND and Landolin (Mary Ann) Keller, Linton, ND; ten grandchildren: Derek, Dawson, Tristin, Mason, Gage, Emily, Carter, Mya, Sam and Ava; numerous nieces and nephews; and many former co-workers and friends. Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents: Valentine and Clara Keller; her sister, Annella Keller; father and mother-in-law: Gerald and Katie Judah; three brothers-in-law: August Eberle, Donald Weisbeck and Roland Brandner and granddaughter, Kaylee Schon. Priscilla\u0027s battle with ALS was fought with courage and grace until the end. True to her nature of caring for others, she asked that in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory be made to the ALS Association (www.ALSA.org) to help those and their families fighting the disease, and to ultimately find a cure.
