Michelle Niska Obituary (1976 - 2019)

Michelle Niska, 43, Bismarck, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at CHI St. Alexus Medical Center, Bismarck. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Steele with Fr. Jerome Hunkler officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Steele. Michelle was born January 26, 1976 at Bismarck, to Michael and Yvonne (Lange) Kuntz. She was raised and educated in Steele. She graduated from Wahpeton State School of Science. Michelle worked as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant at Dakota Alpha in Mandan. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her husband Jim around the firepit. She is survived by her husband, Jim; father, Michael; three brothers, Jeffrey (Shawn), Gregory (Julie), and Jason (Felicia) Kuntz; father-in-law, Warren Niska; brother-in-law, Ivan (Dawn) Niska, and Ross Niska; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and special friends. Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, Yvonne; and mother-in-law, Jennie Niska.
