Harvey Albrecht Obituary (1928 - 2016)

Harvey Albrecht, 88, Bismarck, North Dakota, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at Sanford Living Care Center, Mandan North Dakota. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 PM, Sunday, October 30, 2016, at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services, Mandan, North Dakota, with Rev. Dale Nabben officiating. A gathering of family and friends will take place one hour prior to the service. As per Harvey's wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be at a later date in Bethel Cemetery, rural Langdon, North Dakota. Harvey was born July 31, 1928, at Langdon, North Dakota, to Joseph and Eva (Spenst) Albrecht. He was raised on the family farm near Langdon and educated in Langdon. On September 24, 1949, he married Carol Bergley in Riverdale, North Dakota. Harvey worked as an industrial salesman in the energy and construction industries and received the Lignite Energy Council\u0027s Contractor/Supplier of the Year award. He enjoyed working with his son, Steve, at the end of his career. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pinochle, playing baseball, softball, basketball, gardening, and raising apples. He is survived by his wife, Carol; two daughters, Danna (Jerry) Fiedler, Bismarck, North Dakota, Terri (Scott) Keller, O'Fallon, Missouri; two sons, Wayne (Valerie) Albrecht, Hazen, North Dakota, Steve (Angela) Albrecht, Laurel, Montana; nine grandchildren, Joshua, Kristine, Ryan, Allison, Carter, Ethan, Jesse, Demi, and Madeline; five great-grandchildren, Avery, Evan, Olivia, Emma, and Sophia; two sisters-in-law, Marion Albrecht and Jane Clampitt; many nieces and nephews, and numerous special friends.
