Dont R. Smith, 27, Mandan, North Dakota, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014, in Bismarck. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at St. James Episcopal Church, Cannon Ball, North Dakota with Rev. Canon John Floberg, officiating. Visitation is from 9:00 AM until time of service at St. James Episcopal Church, Cannon Ball, North Dakota. Burial will be in St. James Episcopal Cemetery, Cannon Ball. Dant was born April 19, 1987, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Audrey Smith. He was raised and educated in various places including, Minnesota, Sacramento, California, and Mandan, North Dakota. He was a good cook and worked for various restaurants around the Bismarck, Mandan, and Standing Rock Sioux Tribe area. He enjoyed playing poker, video games, and joking and laughing with friends. He liked to working and spending time with his friends. He is survived by his sister, Trinicia Smith, Minneapolis; three brothers, Willis Smith, Fort Yates, LaSonta Robichaw, and Tony Robichaw, both of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and special friends, Kendra Dogskin and Thomas Bullhead Jr. Donte was preceded in death by his mother, Audrey Smith; and grandmother, Dorothy Seewalker-Condon.
